WASHINGTON — Twenty-five years ago today, Stradley Ronon launched an office in the nation’s capital. Opening its doors in 1999 as the first location outside the Mid-Atlantic region, the office has grown to 38 lawyers and business professionals who support the firm’s national platform. Stradley Ronon’s D.C. lawyers provide counsel to clients across various industries, including investment management, financial services, litigation, and nonprofit and religious organizations.
“When the firm entered this important market as part of its strategic growth plan more than two decades ago, it cemented our commitment to establishing a strong group of lawyers with deep roots in the U.S. capital to serve our broad client base,” said David Grim, partner-in-charge of the D.C. office. “This special milestone reaffirms that commitment, and we look forward to building on those foundations as the office continues to grow and attract top talent.”
The firm’s D.C. office is home to many accomplished lawyers, several of whom are former high-ranking staff members of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, who now practice in the firm’s investment management and securities litigation and enforcement practices. In addition, lawyers and business professionals across the office are also active in the local community through pro bono and volunteer efforts.
