Craig Blackman Serves as Co-Chair and Moderator at the National Flood Conference

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon Partner Craig R. Blackman served as an organizing co-chair and moderator at the National Flood Conference from June 28-30, 2021. Blackman moderated the panel, “Litigation Trends,” which addressed recent trends in litigation, provided an update on recent developments in National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) case law and discussed the litigation oversight by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and topics and legal issues that are at the forefront of NFIP litigation.

Blackman is co-chair of the firm’s insurance practice and cyber insurance groups, and chairs its NFIP and private flood insurance team. Blackman is a nationally recognized authority on the National Flood Insurance Program and focuses his practice on a variety of insurance industry issues, including commercial and personal lines; cyber; directors & officers and errors & omissions with a focus on Mutual Fund boards; general liability; land title; fidelity and surety; and professional, employment and products liability. He has counseled clients on primary, umbrella, excess policies and reinsurance, as well as captive, self-insured and surplus lines programs; and proof of claim/coverage analyses in receivership.
