PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is proud to announce
Mark R. Greer has been selected by
Crain’s Chicago Business to its 2021 Notable Rising Stars in Law list. This distinguished
award recognizes individuals for their success and accomplishments during the last 12 to 18 months.
Greer’s nomination highlighted his work with registered investment companies, independent board members and registered investment advisers, as well as exchange-traded funds (ETF) providers to address significant issues facing the ETF market. Notably, it emphasized his representation of Invesco, a leading provider of ETFs and the fourth-largest ETF issuer globally, to help launch more than two dozen ETFs.
Greer concentrates his practice on representing registered investment companies, independent board members and registered investment advisers on a broad range of regulatory and compliance matters that arise under U.S. federal securities laws, particularly the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, the Commodity Exchange Act, and related rules and regulations. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Legal Council for Health Justice, a nonprofit organization empowering individuals and communities, using the power of the law to secure dignity, opportunity, and well-being for all. Greer is also a member of Stradley Ronon’s Diversity Committee and Hiring Committee.
