Kevin R. Casey,
Allison Z. Gifford and Elizabeth M. O’Donoghue served as panelists at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Intellectual Property Law Update on Sept. 30. Casey, Gifford and O’Donoghue presented “Trademark Law Review,” which addressed and provided insight on trademark developments over the last year.
Casey is chair of the
intellectual property and the
IP litigation groups at Stradley Ronon and an active member of the
alternative dispute resolution group. He has counseled clients for over 30 years in all aspects of the IP field, focusing on patents, trademarks, trade secrets, licensing and opinions. Casey has also been lead litigation counsel and has participated as assistant counsel in more than 60 cases.
Gifford focuses her practice on
trademark and
copyright law and related business issues. She has represented clients from start-ups to multinational corporations in a wide variety of industries including building and construction materials and supplies, minerals, chemicals, computer software and technology, retail, apparel, non-profit and charitable organizations, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, online business services, e-commerce, restaurant and food services, and financial and insurance services.
O’Donoghue concentrates her practice in
intellectual property matters and related business issues, including assisting companies and individuals in industries such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. She counsels clients on developing comprehensive and effective intellectual property portfolios, including domestic and international trademark, patent and copyright strategies.
