PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that Lisa R. Jacobs, partner and member of the firm’s corporate & securities group, was re-appointed by the Secretary of the Commonwealth to her fourth consecutive two-year term as a member of the Corporation Bureau Advisory Committee. She was also re-elected as chair for a two-year term.
The Corporation Bureau Advisory Committee is established by 15Pa.C.S. §155(c) and is charged with making recommendations to the Governor with respect to the budget of the Corporation Bureau and reporting to the Pennsylvania General Assembly on recommended legislative changes to Title 15. The Committee may also consult with the Department of State regarding the administration of the Pennsylvania corporation laws.
Jacobs has extensive experience representing businesses and institutions on domestic and international transactional matters. For more than 30 years, Jacobs has served as an advisor to both private and public companies in a wide variety of industries on matters related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, institutional and private equity financings, securitization and structured finance, and corporate governance issues.
