PHILADELPHIA — Stradley Ronon partner Steve Scolari, co-chair of the closely held and family owned businesses practice, participated as a faculty presenter in a CLE webcast for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI) on May 24. The webcast, “Hot Topics in Mergers & Acquisitions 2024,” featured a deep dive into the most pressing issues facing merger and acquisition (M&A) practitioners in today's complex environment.
During the webcast, Steve covered the latest trends and critical considerations shaping the M&A landscape from the perspective of insuring the deal. Steve discussed the different types of insurance products that are available in M&A transactions and the strategies of sellers and buyers using such products.
Steve provides practical and strategic legal and business advice to executives and owners of both private and public businesses in connection with a variety of transactional matters, as well as business succession planning engagements, in a wide scope of industries. Those transactions include M&A, debt and equity financings, joint ventures and corporate restructurings.
