Stradley Ronon Partners Discuss Tax Structuring in M&A Transactions at Philadelphia Dealmakers Conference

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that the firm joined members of Kreischer Miller to present “Maximize Your Success with Pre-Transaction Tax Structuring” on Sept. 8 at the Smart Business Dealmakers Conference in Philadelphia. The event featured firm partners Steven A. Scolari, who served as moderator, and Kenneth C. Wang, who served as a panelist. Session attendees learned how to maximize success with pre-transaction tax structuring, how tax planning in advance can positively impact any type of deal and which strategies offer the greatest benefits for acquiring businesses.

 

Scolari serves as co-chair of the firm’s closely held & family-owned businesses practice group. He provides practical and strategic legal and business advice to executives and owners of private and public businesses in connection with a variety of transactional matters and business succession planning engagements in a broad scope of industries. Those transactions include mergers and acquisitions (M&A), debt and equity financings, joint ventures and corporate restructurings.

 

Based in the firm’s New York office, Wang is a partner in the firm’s tax department and centers his practice on all aspects of U.S. tax law, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and joint ventures, fund formation, financing transactions, real estate transactions, business restructurings and reorganizations and international tax. He advises a wide variety of clients, including fortune 100 companies, private investment funds, venture capital and closely held & family-owned businesses.
