Supreme Court Extends Title VII Protections to Gay and Transgender Employees

The United States Supreme Court today handed down a landmark ruling on LGBTQ issues in the workplace. In its 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court ruled that gay and transgender employees are protected from discrimination by Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
