Partner Susan Gault-Brown Presents at Practising Law Institute’s FinTech Conference

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that Partner and Chair of the firm’s fintech practice group Susan Gault-Brown served as a panelist at Practising Law Institute’s 2022 FinTech Conference, which was held on Dec. 2. The panel, “Investment Fund FinTech Developments,” discussed SEC guidance and current issues impacting registered investment companies and other funds that seek to invest in bitcoin and other digital assets, as well as the tokenization of fund interests.

Gault-Brown is an active member of Stradley Ronon’s award-winning investment management practice, which was recently ranked in Band 1 for Nationwide Registered Funds in the 2022 edition of Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. She also co-chairs the firm’s derivatives and commodities practice group. Gault-Brown assists with the creation and development of innovative investment products and services, with significant experience in emerging web- and app-based financial services products, including cryptocurrencies, digital assets, blockchain and distributed ledger technology, investment platforms, crowdfunding platforms and robo-advisers.
