Overview

Peter Brockmeyer represents commercial banks, investment funds, private equity sponsors, non-bank lenders and public and private corporations in structuring secured and unsecured credit facilities, including acquisition financings, syndicated loans, asset-based loans, real estate-secured transactions, and debtor-in-possession facilities. 

Before joining Stradley Ronon, Peter was an associate at a Mid-Atlantic area law firm, where he advised clients on a variety of commercial loan transactions. He obtained his law degree from Boston College Law School, earned his M.S. in finance from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and earned his B.S.F.S. in International Economics from Georgetown University, Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service.

  • represented senior term loan lender in a $140 million transaction secured by the proceeds of securitized student debt
  • served as counsel to a group of mezzanine finance lenders on financing the consolidation of power generator maintenance providers
  • represented a term loan lender in a $30 million loan to the founders of a multimedia company in connection with the closing of a public offering of Class A securities in the multimedia company
  • represented the private equity sponsor and platform borrowers in connection with leveraged refinancing from finance and mezzanine lenders in excess of $90 million, including acquisition and working  capital loans
  • advised the administrative agent in a syndicated ABL transaction, which included a delayed draw term loan for a $45 million total credit facility to an urgent care provider
  • represented senior commercial real estate lender on a multi-property cross-collateralized series of term loans to the borrower group
  • represented the floorplan lender in a $90 million vehicle financing agreement to over eight dealerships in Indiana
