Stradley Ronon and Valley Bank Present Succession Planning Panel Discussion

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that the firm partnered with Valley Bank to present “Succession Planning and Exit Strategies: Positioning Your Business to Succeed” on June 21 at the Desmond Hotel. The event featured Stradley Ronon attorneys Steven A. Scolari, who served as a panel member, and Peter C. Brockmeyer, who served as the event moderator, and panelists Steven Vitale, head of commercial banking and first senior vice president at Valley Bank and Michael J. Mufson, managing partner at Mufson Hunter & Partners LLC. Attendees learned the options for selling or transferring a business, including selling to family, sponsors or other strategic buyers, and how to prepare an organization financially for a transition.

Scolari serves as co-chair of the firm’s closely held & family owned businesses practice and provides practical and strategic legal and business advice to executives and owners of both private and public businesses in connection with a variety of transactional matters, as well as business succession planning engagements, in a wide scope of industries. Those transactions include mergers and acquisitions (M&A), debt and equity financings, joint ventures and corporate restructurings.

Brockmeyer represents commercial banks, investment funds, private equity sponsors, non-bank lenders and public and private corporations in structuring secured and unsecured credit facilities, including acquisition financings, syndicated loans, asset-based loans, real estate-secured transactions, and debtor-in-possession facilities.
