Stradley Ronon Adds Litigation Associate in Washington, DC

PHILADELPHIA – Stradley Ronon is pleased to announce that Bruce Familant has joined the firm’s litigation department as an associate in Washington, DC. He concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation representing clients in a variety of matters, including products liability and mass tort.

Before joining Stradley Ronon, Familant worked for several law firms in Washington, DC, on matters involving regulatory investigations, as well as complex lawsuits involving antitrust and patent infringement. After law school, he served as a prehearing research attorney for the Michigan Court of Appeals and later served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Magistrate Ellen S. Carmody of the U.S. District for the Western District of Michigan. He then worked as an associate at a Michigan firm where he defended insurance companies and their insureds.

Familant received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Western Michigan University Thomas Cooley Law School and his B.A. from Old Dominion University. During law school, he served as an intern to the Hon. Richard F. Suhrheinrich for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth District, and he served as Managing Associate Editor of The Thomas M. Cooley Law Review.
