PHILADELPHIA – Mischa Wheat spoke at the New Jersey Food Processors Association’s (NJFPA) Annual Conference held in Atlantic City, NJ on March 18. This year’s conference theme was “Rescue Your Risk.” Wheat was part of the breakout session, “Managing Your Cyber Risks.”
Wheat represents clients across a variety of industries on general commercial litigation matters, particularly involving cybersecurity and data privacy issues, focusing on compliance with privacy laws and regulations and data breach investigation. Mischa is an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and maintains working knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, common data privacy vulnerabilities, and the current legislative and regulatory schemas. Mischa counsels clients in establishing best information security and privacy practices and provides guidance through a breach event. He has assisted in multiple breach investigations, responses and notifications.
